February 2026 Update – Progress, Growth and Momentum

February has been a strong and productive month for Salis Care. Across our services, we have seen encouraging progress, strengthened team engagement, and continued momentum in both workforce development and tenant outcomes.

A key focus this month has been investment in our people. Our 2026 training plan is now well underway, with a clear emphasis on practical, face-to-face learning in areas that benefit from applied discussion and scenario-based understanding. By strengthening areas such as emergency response and legislative knowledge, we are ensuring our teams feel confident not only in what to do, but in why they are doing it.

Alongside this, our apprenticeship programme continues to grow. Twelve members of the team are now enrolled onto Level 2 and Level 3 Adult Care qualifications. Early feedback from staff has been extremely positive, with colleagues valuing the structured learning and development opportunities available to them. Building career pathways within supported living is central to creating stable, knowledgeable services.

We have also celebrated meaningful individual achievements this month. One resident recently accessed public transport for the first time with staff support – a milestone that represents increased independence, confidence, and community engagement. These moments are powerful reminders of the purpose behind our work.

Occupancy across services remains strong, with positive transitions taking place during January that have now fully settled. The teamwork shown in preparing environments and supporting new move-ins has been outstanding.

Engagement across the workforce is also improving. Attendance at our most recent team meeting reached 24 out of 31 staff members, reflecting a growing culture of communication and shared accountability. Strong services depend on connected teams, and this is encouraging to see.

Demand for placements remains steady, and we continue to explore suitable properties to ensure we can respond responsibly to future referrals. Growth will remain measured, stable, and aligned with our quality standards.

Overall, February has reflected a service that is consolidating its foundations while building for the future. The direction is clear – high standards, empowered staff, and meaningful outcomes for the individuals we support.
